FunnelEnvy is looking for a Director of Conversion Strategy to lead the team and strategy that will maximize ROI for our customers. You’ll have a pivotal role in defining our services value proposition and communicating and executing on that to the market.

About Us

We’re a fast growing startup near San Francisco with technology and services focused on delivering Return on Traffic (revenue) through website personalization. In a little over two years we’ve delivered return on traffic by focusing on technology and execution for enterprise customers including HP, Zillow, Disney, TripAdvisor, VMware and Angie’s List.

In addition to our platform technologies we’re partners with leading vendors including Optimizely (3 star partner) and Qubit.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has many years of experience in leading cross-functional teams in improving enterprise ecommerce and / or B2B conversions through data and experimentation. You have a strong strategic and tactical knowledge of the trends and relevant vendors in the market, and how to use that knowledge to establish a practice that maximizes value for our customers.

You are excited about building and managing a cutting-edge strategy team, and to collaborate with proven sales & technical talent. You’re also fluent in the methods of data driven personalization, including user experience design, website analytics and e-commerce strategy.

You’ll own be responsible for:

  • Building, scaling and leading the team that creates long term value in our client accounts
  • Developing the methodology that is consistent with our values and core market
  • Ensuring that we can deliver positive ROI within the scope of every services engagement, and that we maximize revenue potential with these accounts
  • Providing strategic leadership, vision and resources for new and existing accounts
  • Helping the sale team close opportunities with new and existing accounts by communicating opportunities in increasing conversions
  • Setting test velocity and revenue targets for strategic accounts and help to ensure that they are met

Key Competencies to be successful at this role

  • 5 years of experience successfully leading cross functional enterprise optimization and personalization program
  • Strategic thinking / visioning – Ability to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. Determine opportunities and threats through comprehensive analysis of current and future trends
  • Ability to source, selects, and sells top performers to join the team
  • Ability to coach people in their current roles to improve performance, and prepare them for future roles
  • Ability to persuade clients to pursue a course of action based on objective evidence and experience

Our offices are in downtown Millbrae, CA – close to the San Francisco Airport. We’re across the street from the Millbrae transit station (BART & Caltrain) and only 15 minutes from downtown San Francisco.
